The Top 3 Questions to Ask Yourself Before Booking Your Next Spiritual Retreat

If you've ever thought about attending a Spiritual Retreat, you'll want to ask yourself some questions before you embark on your magical journey. Retreats are for people that are willing and ready to grow. Ask yourself the following questions: 

Are you ready to give yourself permission to finally give back and invest in yourself?

It’s common to fall in love with the idea of attending a retreat and taking sacred time for yourself away from the rest of the world, but are you willing to pay what it costs to stay in alignment with what your Soul truly wants?  Are you willing to give yourself permission to sign up for the retreat? There’s no need to explain yourself to others and check in to see if you are allowed to go on this journey. You should be willing to say “This is what I have to do for me. I give myself permission.”


Is your leader someone you trust and respect?

The person who runs the retreat sets the tone of the whole experience. There are small details that help everything flow harmoniously, including the group that attends.  Your teacher should be someone you can count on to lead the group through a sacred experience; an experience that is filled with peace, relaxation, knowledge, and someone that can hold space for you on your journey.

As a Psychic Medium Retreat teacher and natural introvert, I truly believe in creating a schedule that allows time to not only be together as a group, but also allows my students time to have personal sacred moments. Do You Want to Know Why It’s Time to Stop Waiting for Every New Year to Make Changes?

On January 1st of every year, an infinite amount of people list out all of their goals for a brand new year. More people fill the gym and even more try to become “positive” about their new year. But, guess what? If what you did last year didn’t work for you, it won’t work for you this year either. Energetically, your mindset is everything. Just having a positive mindset once a year is not enough. You must shift everything from the mind, body, and soul on a daily basis.  And, it’s not about “being positive,” it’s about being real with your situation.

Here are some regular actions steps in order for change to happen:

Check in with yourself:

Think about how you’re feeling. If you aren’t happy in your life, come back to yourself and figure out what is causing you to be unhappy and then take the necessary steps to change it (one day at a time).

Set your intention about how YOU want to feel

A lot of the problems that come up in life is from not knowing we want we want or trying to please everyone around you. If you aren’t sure exactly what it is that you want out of your life, relationships, your job, etc. then spend some time with yourself and list out all of things that will make you feel that way.


For example, if you want to feel freedom…think about what hobbies will make you feel freedom and go and do those things. If you want to feel more valued from others, value yourself. This may be taking time out to get a massage, eat healthier, or even talk to yourself in the mirror every morning stating how thankful you are for your health.  

When you get very clear on what it is to focus on, that’s when the universe conspires to make it happen.  Sometimes, we think everything is moving at a slow speed in our life, but in reality it’s moving pretty quickly. We must be aware of what it is we want out of life and take the necessary steps to get there.  Nobody else will hand it over to you, if you don’t know what you want yourself.   Each breath you take, is a new chance for a new beginning.  It’s time to stop waiting for every New Year to make changes in your life.  Make changes right now.  It's time to put YOU first! 3 Ways to Use the Full Moon to Your Advantage

I’m sure you’ve heard that the full moon is a perfect time to clear your crystals. Yes, clearing your crystals and recharging them is definitely something you can do, but it’s not the only thing you can do during a full moon! Because the energy of the moon is heightened, it’s important to use the energy you are given. Here are three ways to use its energy: 

1.) Charge yourself

Charge yourself! You should be doing this everyday anyway, but especially during a full moon when the energy is high. Make a conscious effort to look up at the moon and tune into essence of it. You can send some love up to it, and feel it all come back to you or you can just take a moment to breathe and imagine all of its energy is coming through your body.  Do this all while you plant your feet on the ground and charge up. You can spend five minutes doing this or thirty-five minutes. No matter how much time you spend, you will feel a difference. 

2.) Let go of stuff that has been weighing you down

This can be material things like clothes, books, etc. or it can be emotional stuff too. Material things are energetic things too and the same goes for emotional weight too. When we release things, the energy doesn’t go away right away. When we make the choice to get rid of the stuff that doesn’t serve our soul anymore, we start taking off layers. You can start by getting some trash bags together and going through your drawers and closet and give the stuff away that doesn’t feel energetically aligned with you, anymore. When it comes to emotions, pick up the phone and call the friend that you’ve been wanting to talk with or take out your journal and write anything that flows out of your pen. 

3.) Be alone

Yes, you read this right. Take time to just be by yourself, so you have time to be surrounded with your own energy. Read a magazine, take a bath, go swimming, drink some tea. Do anything that nourishes YOUR SOUL. 

Remember, the full moon isn’t always about just charging your crystals. It’s about taking care of you too.

The Biggest Misconceptions About Mediums

  As a full time working Medium and teacher of Mediumship, I come across so many people that have misconceptions about Mediums. Before I discovered my own ability of connecting to those that have passed, I used to have my own mistaken beliefs about Mediums, too. Here are some of the biggest misconceptions, about Mediums, that I hear regularly:

All Mediums see and hear spirit with their physical eyes and ears, when they are giving readings.

This is not always the case. The majority of Mediums I know, don’t physically see or hear spirit while they’re giving readings to their clients. Don’t get me wrong, it can definitely happen. I’ve seen and heard Spirit before. I notice energy and even flickers of light from those that have passed. I have visitations from passed loved ones.  I’ve even heard words in my ear as they’ve spoken to me, but in this moment in time, when I give readings regularly I hear and see spirit through my thoughts.  When I see Spirit, I mainly see them in my “mind’s eye” almost like a memory in my mind. When I hear Spirit, I hear it as if it comes in as my own thought. A word, phrase, or conversation floats in my head.


All Mediums receive information through at least one of their five senses (hear, see, taste, touch, smell), all of the time.

There are moments where we do use our senses, but there are other times we just have an inner knowing of the passed loved ones message. This is because we are melding with Spirit. When we meld with a passed loved one, we feel as they feel and we know as they know.


All Mediums are perfect humans and know all there is to know about life.

This is absolutely untrue. There’s already enough pressure having to relay information from your passed loved ones. We don’t need any more pressure in being perfect. I can only speak for myself, but I put a lot of effort in being the best soul I can be, but I’m human and I make mistakes. It’s part of living a human life here on earth. As a Medium, there are two important pieces that some people miss: self-development and experiencing life as a human being. I’m constantly “studying self development” and practicing my Mediumship skills weekly, while still experiencing life as a person here on earth.  So, we aren’t perfect, but there are some of us that strive to grow everyday.


The next time you think of a medium, remember they are humans just like you and they have to work everyday to master their skills.

In honor of the red shiny heart shaped boxes, filled with chocolate, let’s take this moment to remember the power of self-love. We are made of love which is the highest vibration of all. Valentine’s day doesn’t just have to be just for lovers. It can be a gentle reminder that we must take care of ourselves with love. Let this Valentine’s Day realign our awareness, to our soul.

Here are four things you can do before Valentine’s Day or at point during your life.

1. Bring in new energy into your space

You can bring in new energy, by putting  flowers or plants in your house and or office. Flower and plant energy shifts the vibes in the house and even transmutes any stagnant energy that’s lingering. Flowers and plants not only lift your spirits, but they lift the energy in the room too.

2. Nourish your physical body

You can do this by taking a bath or a get a massage. Don’t wait until you need it; do it on a regular basis. While taking a bath, add a touch of salt and crystals to clear your etheric field and recharge your energy. My favorite crystal for self-love is rose quartz, which promotes the love vibration.

3. Just be alone

Read a book and or journal to get to know you what your soul needs.  Make sure you do for at least at least ten minutes out of each day. By taking this time for you, you will be able to understand and separate your feelings from those around you. This is one thing that can completely shift your mood, throughout the day. Don’t be afraid to get to know yourself.

4. Pick out a card and send it to yourself  

 Go to the store and intuitively pick out a card that you're drawn to. Then write a love letter to yourself. After you finish, drop it off at the post office to mail it back to your home address.  You will get your message in diving timing. When I was going through deep grief, I would go to the card aisle of the store and ask to be guided to the right one for me. It's amazing what the message did for my soul. I still have those cards at home.

       Remember, you shouldn't be waiting until Valentine’s Day to take care of your mind body and soul. The time is now. You will notice your relationships with others and yourself, improve dramatically. You won’t regret it!

I’ve heard it all. There are a lot of misconceptions when it comes to intuition. Here are just some of the many I’ve heard. I'll provide you with the truth. 

Myth: It’s not easy to tap into your intuition.

Truth: I can teach you how to tap into your intuition in minutes. Since it’s in our DNA, it’s not meant to be difficult. You just have to allow the information to flow through you, instead of over analyzing it. 

Myth: Only some people are born with it. 

Truth: No no no…everyone is born with it. It’s our compass in life. 

Myth:  You have to see a Psychic to get information for yourself. 

Truth: You don’t need a Psychic to get your information. When you are having a dream, you pick up info real quick…even without hearing words. You telepathically connect. That’s how “real life” intuition is supposed to be. 

MythIt’s scary. 

Truth: It’s really not scary. It’s actually fun and natural once you open up. 

Myth: Once you open it up, you will see all of the bad things. 

Truth: You are in charge of your boundaries. Look at how much beauty is around you, it’s all in perception. 

Myth: You can’t tap into your intuition if you’re far away. 

Truth: If I’m in the US, and I give a reading to someone in Australia, it’s just like I’m sitting in person with them. Energy cannot be broken and it’s not separated by time or space. 

Myth: It’s weird. 

Truth: I guess some people may call it weird, but it’s a cool weird.


A little over 7 years ago, everything was ripped from under me and flipped upside down. My whole world was shattered. I lost the love of my life, Nicholas, in a tragic motorcycle accident. A part of me died with him.  Going through the motions of life, in a trance, was something that was a regular occurrence for me.   On a consistent basis, I had people put their two cents in about how I should start dating. I knew in my mind that would not solve the problem. It would not bring him back.  Nicholas’s love is so strong, that I can feel it from realms away. Through visitations and messages, he’s guided me through my life. He told me to take one moment at a time, live fully, knowing that he would always be there even if I didn’t see him.  I did just that. I started to find the true essence of who I was and love myself unconditionally.  One of the mistakes I had made in the past was putting everyone else before myself.  It was finally time to take care of myself first. When I started to live from my soul, everything else changed for me. Of course, it didn’t bring him back in the physical way, but I continue to feel his beautiful soul guide mine. It’s a heavenly thing that can’t be defined in words.

Four years after he passed, he sent me more love. He sent me his childhood friend that I had never met before. Tony and I connected at a place in our lives where we were completely fulfilled within our souls.  Both of us had many things in common, most importantly our love for Nicholas.  The 5 gifts ofknowledge we were given, that I would love to pass on to you are:


  1. We don’t complete each other, we add to one another’s soul.
  2. There are no questions when your heart knows where it must go.
  3.  Putting ourselves first, in turn helps the other.
  4. There’s no point in searching, we are made of love and more of it will catch up to you.
  5. There’s no replacing love, love never dies, there’s just added love.


Unconditional love is a powerful thing. By getting to a place of feeling this unconditional love for yourself, you will make all of your relationships that much stronger.

You don’t have to sit in a cross-legged position with your hands turned up, to meditate! You’ve probably been meditating countless times throughout your day, and didn’t even realize it.  Meditation is a moment where our minds go into a daydream like state. Think of your mind as a car.  When you're on the highway, you can choose cruise control, so that you can just coast. On a side note, I don't like cruise control but it's a perfect example in this situation.  Meditation is cruise control for your brain. You can sit back and relax.  In this world we live in, our thinking is constantly going going and going! Whether it's checking our phones or playing on the computer, we are constantly in overdrive.  It feels good to slow it down once in a while and get into that meditative state. Check out some things you may already be doing, that count as a form of meditation:

  1. Blow drying your hair
  2. Washing the dishes
  3. Vacuuming
  4. Taking a shower
  5. Driving
  6. Riding a bike
  7. Painting
  8. Walking
  9. Swimming
  10. Exercising in general
  11. Sitting in nature

Now, all of the examples listed above are great if you aren’t on the phone or communicating with other people. With awareness and conscious effort to be silent while doing these things, these forms of meditation can help get you exactly where you need to be.   Meditation has some powerful pros!  Take a look:

-Balances out your emotions

-Decreases anxiety

-Helps you to focus better

-Increases your memory recall

     For as long as I can remember, I’ve been picking up on people’s vibes! I actually used to think their emotions were mine. Luckily now, I know how to make sure I don’t take them on as my own. In the past, it didn’t matter if someone was speaking or not, I felt their EVERYTHING: depression, anger, sadness, anxiety. I was confused because I had no reason to be feeling those emotions and I didn’t understand why my mood was shifting. I later found out that I was an empath. An empath is a fancy word for someone that picks up on the emotions that are attached to a person, place, or thing. 

Here are 7 questions to ask yourself, to see if you were graced with this fancy title of being an Empath.

1. Have you been told you’re overly sensitive or anxious?

2. Does your mood fluctuate easily, when you’re around certain people?

3. Do you find yourself solving everyone’s problems?

4. Do you feel tired after giving your listening ear to a friend?

5. Are you known for your compassionate heart?

6. Do people tell you how great they feel after talking with you and you all of a sudden feel drained?

7. Do you feel like you are looking for that escape route when you’re in a public place or party?

If you’ve answered YES to the majority of these questions, you are most likely an empath.

Being an Empath has its benefits, but if you don’t know how to manage all of the energy coming into your field, it can be overwhelming.

Here are just 3 of the many tips you can use, to live an enriched life, while still being an empath

1. Know your boundaries: This means limiting your time with people that may drain your energy.

2. Hydrate your body: Drink plenty of water because you will need even more as an empath.

3. Take a breather: Step outside to get fresh air, ground & release the energy.

      Every 365 Days, we are graced with a brand new year. This is a time where millions of people set new goals and get excited for a fresh start, but they often forget to leave some things behind. Here are the two things you must get rid of. 

 Unused Items

If you haven’t used it in six months, you should either toss it or give it a new home. Clutter that piles up in a closet or corner creates stagnant energy. Lack of physical flow takes up space for new things to come into your life. Take some time to sift through your things and donate unwanted items. By doing this, you are leaving space for things you want to manifest in your life.


Housing pent up emotions within you, does not serve you. And neither does overanalyzing conversations of the past. Whether this anger or frustration is built up against yourself or others, release it. It’s not your job to give this beast of burden shelter. It’s much easier said than done, but the emotional freedom you will experience by evicting it, will open up more space for positive renters. This does not mean you have to forget, it means you are surrendering to a new moment without this burden. Allow these feelings to fall to the wayside, after you are done releasing the tension in your mind, body, and soul. You can do this by visualizing yourself handing it over an eviction notice. Breathe and release. Healing your heart is not an overnight process, but giving yourself permission to get rid of an unwanted tenant can happen immediately.

     We don’t have to wait for a new year to leave these items behind. Every 24 hours we are blessed with a new day and every breath we are granted a new moment. Cleanse your physical space and emotions regularly to manifest exactly what you deserve.

I don’t know how you feel about the Holidays, but I know they stir up a lot of emotions. It’s a bittersweet time, especially for those that have suffered the loss of someone close to their heart. Here are some of my secrets to embrace your loved ones, in spirit, during this time:

1. Go Through the Pain

Go through the pain and face it head on. This means ditching the alcohol and quit the binge eating because sadly it won’t bring them back. Believe me, I’ve been there. When feeling overly emotional, it just numbs the pain. Don’t get me wrong, a drink or two is okay but if you’re drinking or eating so that you “don’t feel,” it won’t work out for you in the long run. It’s really easy to overindulge during the holidays anyway, and when you’re going through grief forget about it. It’s magnified! If you’re feeling sad or angry, lose the self-judgment. Either write your feelings in a journal or talk to someone. This means even talking to the person you’ve lost (they’re listening).

2. Keep Open Communication

Open communication is exactly what your loved ones, in spirit, want. If you are speaking to them, pay attention to their response. Their communication may come from a thought that “pops in” your mind or a song that plays on the radio when you “happen” to walk into a room. You may also notice signs that are around you. Pay attention to that penny that showed up or the feather that happened to fly by at the right moment. 

3. Embrace Them

Embrace them by lighting a candle or saying a prayer, to acknowledge their soul. You can also write them a letter. Embracing you is embracing them, so they love it if you take time to get a massage or pamper yourself too.

4. Celebrate

Celebrate as if your loved ones are there, because they are! They don’t want you sitting by yourself because you feel guilty having fun without them. They actually want you around friends and family. You can celebrate them by doing things that you loved to do together, like playing your favorite games or movies.

Remember your loved ones are with you always, even during the Holidays. They love to live through you, so make it count!

I say that now, but I've had my moments where I didn't trust myself all the way. I learned to get over that and surrender to spirit.  There have been so many moments in my life where I felt like I had to say yes, even though I really wanted to say no! After my fiance passed away, my energy was depleted. What is the "LovEnergy Frequency?" I'm glad you're wondering. It's the most powerful frequency for manifesting the things you love in your life. The more things we do with passion, the more passionate things will come into your energy field. The next time you aren't sure whether you should say yes or no, ask yourself these two questions:

  • Will this drain or maintain my energy?
  • Does my heart feel warm and fuzzy or does my body tighten up at the thought of it?

Remember, it's better to say no if you aren't feeling it. If you say yes and put out a resistant vibe while doing the task, it won't benefit you or those around you. Feel good about saying no, so you stay on the "LovEnergy Frequency."
